After a beautiful pilot session last spring, Jordan and I are thrilled to bring back this offering as a full 4 part series (you're invited to come to one or all of the sessions)! This community singing offering will take place at a private home, and will be co-led by Sarina Partridge (community songleader) and Jordan Edelheit (doula, emerging songleader). Our time will be guided by songs inspired by birth and the vastness of parenthood, no prior music experience needed. Folks of all genders welcome. If this speaks to you, trust that voice within and come be part of this communal space of song and birth.
This program is made possible thanks to a grant from the IDEA fund, through the American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota.
POSTPONED TO SUNDAY, SEPT. 22 DUE TO LIKELY THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT!!! Same time, same place -- see you SUNDAY!
Come gather in community to sing and celebrate the equinox!

We will sing in Powderhorn Park on the south side, near the picnic tables. You can park at the rec center and walk along the path to the left around the lake, or park up on 35th St and walk down the hill.
Expect to be welcomed, help create the mandala if you wish to be part of that, be led in song for about an hour by Sarina, then any community members who want to keep the singing going will step in and lead more songs! Oh, and we may enjoy some yummies from folks who bring a seasonal treat to share.

Leaders will teach original, harmony-rich songs that invite people to connect. All voices are welcome and needed - no need to read music or think of yourself as "a singer". 7-9pm “The Well Tree” Performance ~ GET TICKETS HERE
Join folk trio Heartwood for an all-ages, immersive, participatory journey through song and story - the show’s debut! The Well Tree is a three-person musical, illustrated by a ‘crankie’ - an illuminated, papercut, hand-cranked scroll. It is an original 'singing story' about wild journeying and remembering kinship -- the tale of a young woman moving beyond the fog of isolation to meet songbirds, snails and ancient trees as she travels through these unraveling times, finding her way home. The three members of Heartwood – Heidi Wilson, Willy Clemetson, and Sarina Partridge – will be the actors, musicians and the crew that runs the crankie (created by papercut artist Jen Jones) – and the audience will be invited in to help sing pieces of the story.
Singing with Heartwood Trio at Annie and Linnea’s regular Wednesday evening song circle - at the WEST shelter (by the playground) at Wolfe Park in St. Louis Park. Please bring a blanket or chair for sitting. No need to register, just show up!
Suggested donation $10-20 -- No one turned away for lack of funds
Please come sing-along with me and Heartwood at 11am CST in the Daily Antidote of Song!
